Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2)
Opened in May 2014, KLIA2 replaced the Low-Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT). Built to be Malaysia's next generation international airport hub and featuring a host of shopping and F&B outlets, the purpose-built mega terminal is dedicated to low-cost carriers.
KLIA2 is designed to accommodate up to 45 million passengers annually and allow expansion for future air travel growth trends and airlines' operational models.
Operated by Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB), KLIA2 is located less than 2km away from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), and is linked to KLIA and KL Sentral via an Express Rail Link, creating seamless connectivity between the two terminals and the city centre.
