KUALA LUMPUR, 4 September 2018 – Embracing the country’s national heritage of diverse and unique cultures in conjunction with the upcoming Malaysia Day, the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre’s (the Centre) award-winning culinary team has created a Peranakan classic – Warisan Nyonya to celebrate the occasion.
The Chef’s Special – Warisan Nyonya (set meal) is a seafood claypot cooked with “ju hu char” (sweet turnip, carrot and cuttlefish), served with steamed fragrant rice and a homemade mocktail of rose syrup, fresh coconut milk and selasih.
This taste of Malaysia is priced at RM28 (inclusive of applicable taxes and service charge) per person and is available at the Centre’s Parkview Deck Café on level 1, from today 4 September through to 14 September from 10am - 6pm daily, exclusive of weekends and public holidays.
