Kuala Lumpur has a myriad of options for transportation, offering visitors easy access and connectivity to everything Kuala Lumpur has to offer.

The KL Hop On-Hop Off Bus is a guided tour bus service that takes its passengers on a tour around Kuala Lumpur and its landmarks. It is composed of two lines: the City Route which passes through areas in the heart of the city including the KLCC Precinct and Bukit Bintang, and the Garden Route which passes through some of Kuala Lumpur’s historic landmarks including Petaling Street and Dataran Merdeka. For visitors who love sightseeing, visitors can opt for the guided day tour, or the “KL City of Lights” guided night tour.

The Light Rail Transit (LRT) is Kuala Lumpur’s primary rail transportation system, which services major districts around Kuala Lumpur as well as the Klang Valley. It consists of the Kelana Jaya Line which services areas like the KLCC Precinct and Petaling Street, the Sri Petaling Line which services areas like Masjid Jamek and Pudu, and the Ampang Line which runs parallel to the Sri Petaling Line.

The Mass Rapid Transit and its two lines, the Kajang Line and the Putrajaya Line, transport passengers to major destinations in Kuala Lumpur and its neighbouring suburbs. The Kajang Line services areas like Petaling Street, Bukit Bintang and the Tun Razak Exchange while connecting the city to its outskirts, and the Putrajaya Line services areas like Titiwangsa and the KLCC Precinct as well as the city of Putrajaya.

The KL Monorail is a monorail system that starts at the city’s main railway terminus KL Sentral and ends at Titiwangsa. This monorail system passes through Kuala Lumpur’s central business district and is connected to landmarks such as Bukit Bintang, Bukit Nanas and Merdeka 118.
